WAYS TO VOLUNTEER
Many Ways to Help
Volunteering at Warrior Ranch can take many forms. Some opportunities involve horses. Others support events, fundraising, facilities, outreach, administration, or community engagement.
Horse Care Support
Help with appropriate horse-related needs such as grooming, feeding support, care routines, or other activities as directed by Warrior Ranch staff.
Ranch and Facility Support
Assist with maintenance, seasonal projects, cleanup days, repairs, organizing, or general ranch needs.
Event Support
Help with fundraisers, community events, setup, check-in, guest support, breakdown, and other event-day needs.
Fundraising and Outreach
Support fundraising efforts, community awareness, sponsor outreach, event promotion, and mission sharing.
Administrative Support
Help with behind-the-scenes tasks such as organizing information, mailings, phone calls, data entry, or event preparation.
Program Support
Assist with program-related needs as appropriate, helping create a welcoming and supportiveenvironment for participants.
Creative and Professional Skills
Contribute skills such as photography, marketing, writing, design, video, social media, technology, or professional services.
Group Volunteering
Businesses, civic groups, schools, clubs, and community organizations may be able to help through group service days or event support.
You Don’t Need Horse Experience to Make a Difference
Some volunteer roles may involve horses, but many do not. Warrior Ranch welcomes people
with many different backgrounds, skill sets, and comfort levels.
If you are new to horses, there may still be ways to help with events, outreach, administrative support, ranch projects, fundraising, or general community support. When a role requires specific training, safety awareness, or guidance, Warrior Ranch will help determine what is appropriate.
The most important qualities are reliability, respect, compassion, and a willingness to serve.
