SULLY

Sully’s life didn't start out easy. He began his journey on the racetrack, but when he wasn't fast enough to keep competing, he was transitioned to years of hard labor working on an Amish farm. When he could no longer work, he tragically ended up in a kill pen. Thankfully, because of his racing ID tattoo, he was identified, rescued, and eventually brought to Warrior Ranch. Shortly after his rescue, Sully faced yet another massive hurdle: a severe eye infection that required the removal of his right eye.

Losing an eye hasn’t slowed Sully down a bit. Today, he is a superstar in our specialized driving program, which helps veterans and first responders process trauma and build confidence. Because Sully has to navigate the world with limited vision, he relies heavily on trust, communication, and clear leadership. This makes him the perfect partner for our participants, who learn that physical or emotional scars don't diminish your value—they just change your perspective.
